Greenbotics completes module cleaning at SunEdison’s 25MW Picture Rocks Solar project in Arizona - January 2013, Davis CA

Greenbotics was selected to clean SunEdison’s Picture Rocks Solar project, a 25MW solar PV site located in Marana, AZ.  Greenbotics cleaned more than 88,000 panels at the site in just over 7 days in December 2012.

“We’re delighted to collaborate with a solar leader like SunEdison,” stated Greenbotics Founder and CEO, Marc Grossman.  “We strive to offer the highest value-added module cleaning services to the industry, and to do so with an eye towards sustainability.”  Greenbotics cleaned Picture Rocks using its BrushBot(TM) module cleaning system, which restores solar modules to near-perfect cleanliness while minimizing water use.  “Our goal is to be the most resource-efficient module cleaning option out there,” Grossman continued.

“At large desert solar projects, water use is always an issue.  Any time you make the investment to clean panels, you want pristine results like Greenbotics’ full-contact cleaning solution delivers” stated Kevin Christy, SunEdison’s Managing Director of Commercial Solar Operations. “We were pleased to work with Greenbotics at the Picture Rocks location in Arizona.”
